‘Express Yourself!’ – the brand new competition from ‘School Artists’.
This creative and inspiring competition invites 11-18 year-olds to create a piece of art that portrays their deepest emotions. It is particularly appropriate for this age group as it allows them to express their thoughts and feelings through their transition from child to adult.
‘Express Yourself!’ is an ideal classroom activity that complements Key Stage 3 lesson plans, or alternatively makes a great project for extra-curricular art clubs.
There are some fantastic prizes to be won, including £1,000 for the school that submits the best overall group of entries and art packs for the best individual pictures, plus every pupil who enters will receive a free Staedtler art pencil.
Our favourite artwork will feature in School Artists ‘Express Yourself!’ book series, along with informative art fact pages, featuring famous artists and their work.
